Social Welfare Technical Institute Private ITI

Social Welfare Technical Institute was established on August 1, 1967 with the help of Miseror, Germany. The Automobile and steel fabrication workshops were started in1969 as production centres to meet the various needs of the ITC. The ITC was permanently affiliated to the NCVT of the Government of India in 1969 with four units of MMV and four units of Fitter Trades. Later the following trades also were started and affiliated to the NCVT: Plumber two units (1978), MMV two units (1993), Electrician four units (1994), Electronics four units (1995), MRAC two units (1995), Welder two units (1998) and Instrument Mechanic four units (2001). The Social Welfare Catholic Association was founded in 1998.

Instrument Mechanic

Instrumentation is a branch which deals with the measurement, controlling, recording and calibration of any physical quantities (process parameters) like temperature, pressure, flow, level etc.

Duration : 2 years

Eligibility : 10th

Mechanic Motor Vehicle

Theoretical knowledge and practical training in MMV Trade cover all types of vehicles of petrol, diesel, light duty and heavy duty vehicles. Today we witness an explosion in the number and models of all kinds of modern vehicles and this trade offers unlimited job opportunities.

Duration : 2 years

Eligibility : 10th

Electrician

It comprises theoretical and practical know-how of Electricity Generators, Electric Motors and House wiring, Industrial wiring, Repairing of Electrical Appliances, Motor winding, Testing and Experiments with Electrical Meters and Cathode Ray Oscilloscope.

Duration : 2 years

Eligibility : 10th

Welder

The Welder Trade offers tremendous job opportunities in the highly skilled and sophisticated industrial sectors like Ship Building, Oil Refineries, Automobile Industries, Power Generation, Boilers, Nuclear & Aerospace Industries, Aircraft Manufacturing, Structure Building, Truss Work, etc.

Duration : 1 year
