In modern instrumentation, with the help of electrical, electronic and computer, many sophisticated instruments are developed for accurate measurement. For example: auto pilot in submarines and planes.

For example: production of cement, petrol, chemicals etc. Instrumentation is an inevitable branch which plays an important role in the mass production plants, aeronautics, bio medical, space and research centers etc.
It comprises theoretical and practical know-how of Electricity Generators, Electric Motors and House wiring, Industrial wiring, Repairing of Electrical Appliances, Motor winding, Testing and Experiments with Electrical Meters and Cathode Ray Oscilloscope. Besides the National Trade Certificate, the trainees can also get qualified for License as Wireman. The trade has great self-employment opportunities.
